Extremely silly question, I'm sorry! To embarrass myself publicly, I am writing fanfiction for Apex Legends, which has a nonbinary character who goes by Blóðhundur.
I saw here that nicknames are often the first syllable í for men and a for women. It seems like the rules aren't very strict à la the gender thing, so I'm not too fussed about that, but I'm curious how a native or fluent speaker might nickname this. I don't believe this is really a traditional 'name' per se, so sorry for the bother!
