Greetings,
As some of you may or may not know, there has been a lot of controversy around the rename of Lux's ulti.
They wanted to rename it to "Infinite Light" at first, but after the massive resistance to the idea, they know want to name it "Final Spark".
This is a marketing ploy in my eyes.
They gaves a terrible scenario at first, and now present us with a less terrible, closer to our idea scenario.
This will make everyone accept the proposed scenario, and think positively of the resolution, as Riot listening to us. While it might very will be possible that they cameup with Final Spark, and forsaw the backlash, so gave us a worst name first.
If we didn't complain, name stays, it's ok.
If we do, they present a middle ground, they look good, and we accept it.
It's the exact way Bioware handled the ME3 ending controversy.
At first they completly flat out refused to do anything, but eventually they gave a middle ground of providing extra content, which everyone accepeted.
Marketing knowledge makes you a conspiracy theorist.... :P
