Why will my own team flame me when I'm ahead?
Post Body

Been playing a lot of kata and snowballing early. This seems to piss off my team just as much as the enemy team. If I write "ez" or something in all chat my own teammates will not miss the opportunity to say something along the lines of "stfu kata you suck" ESPECIALLY if they're behind. Like, clearly not? And at this point I'm your only chance of winning but whatever.

This often leads to my teammates trying to befriend the enemy team over this weird shared hatred of me. This happens more often than not when I'm ahead and my team are losing their lanes. What this escalates into is my team proceeding to throw and even grief me while being extremely nice in /all chat to the enemy team and humbling themselves in their defeat.

I've had this happen to me and seen my teammates engage in this behaviour too without being the recipient. I really don't understand what the fuck sick thought process this is. "Ah yes, I lost, but at least the enemy team likes me".

100% certified useful idiots imo.
