Malphite got hit a bit too hard with the minion aggro on targeted abilities

So the minion aggro change was a good one. To provent champs like pantheon just pummeling you out of lane.
But i find as malphite im basically forced into a melee only with grasp, as the comet and Q max is nice you basically sacrifice granite shield your enitre lane.
The minion aggro will pop your shield and keeps it from recharging. Your q range is short enough this is always gonna hapoen.
Can malphites granite shield get a passive that takes reduced damage from minions, or maybe not have the timer be reset by minion damage?
