As we have seen in competitive games, Elder Dragon is not doing its job at being a highly impactful buff. A small change that may help it would be adding it as a one of the elemental dragon's effects after claiming it. To clarify, when you killed elder, you would receive a stack of elder giving you a permanent 45 true damage/ 3 seconds. While you had the buff, that effect would be doubled and it would work like having any other dragon. So if you had no dragons but managed to claim elder, then you would get 90 true damage/ 3 seconds during the buff and maintain the one stack of 45 true damage/ 3 seconds for the rest of the game.
