(I know profit is probably the main reason but regardless)
This would make it so it potentially doesn't take at least half a decade to unlock all the playable characters. Especially now with the BE system, where getting champs feels more difficult, and only gets harder the higher level you get. Even if they removed the amount of champs on sale to 1-2, it'd still just make it a smidge quicker to get all of the characters in the game.
It's not like the cheapened champions make Riot that much money, or at least not as much as having people buy more champions, and thus skins for them does, because right now, getting champions feels near impossible with the nerfs to hextech and not being able to reroll shards.
It just bothers me that you can be at a disadvantage of being "too new" to have all the champs, even after playing the game for like, 3 years.
A bit of a rant and I apologise, but this just seems too stingy for my tastes. F2P game and all, but this would be the greatest immediate QoL change I can conceive.
