Change to promotion system - Ranked

I feel that they should remove/find another option to being promoted. UNLESS it's to a new division. "EX - Gold to Plat" It is pointless, it stresses you out and it causes players rage. Including my self. Anyone else feel the same way about this. How could they change it and make it better?
