I miss DFG Eve. Who should I play to have a similar role/level of control?

I'm a meh top/jungle, decent adc/mid, and the worst support NA. I miss being able to influence the flow of teamfights with proper timing/targeting/positioning/stealth and execute targets with impunity.
I play Akali and Fizz on occasion, but the counterplay is really strong against those two so I tend to avoid them. Shaco seems very weak. Irelia seems close to what I want, but she's in a weird spot. Any suggestions?
