Why are we gaining less LP closer to promotion? - A possible solution

For me, it's insanely frustrating to beat 90 LP.
You'd think you'd only be one win away from 100 LP right?
Nope, you only get 2-4 LP every win and lose 4-6 every loss.

This is extremely frustrating as it slows you down massively when you think you are close to your goal.
A possible solution would be to simply make the LP gains constant, but make you need 200 LP for a promo sequence to move leagues.
This way you can accurately see how far away from your goal you are and won't get frustrted with the slow LP gain.
