This team needs to make a change. Now. Why? They’re already making excuses.

The team has complained that the ice at Scotiabank Arena is bad. It’s now colder in the rink because of this (San Jose looked fine on Friday?).

Now, the ice at their practice facility is being resurfaced, less than two weeks into the season (all other games scheduled at the practice facility are cancelled because of it, got the notification today). For the record, the ice seemed perfectly fine to a bum like me.

What does this tell me? They don’t want to take accountability for their poor play. Oh the ice is bad at both rinks, this must be the reason why we’ve been terrible!

Losers make excuses, winners win games. Something has to change.
