Ideal charging range?
Post Body

Proud 2018 Leaf S owner here. I know our beloved vehicles don't have active thermal management, so that job falls on us. I know both maxing out and draining the battery to 5 percent would harm battery health - so what would be a good range of charge to help keep the battery in good health in a Midwest climate? I was thinking, maybe... 20% charge to 90% or so? What's it been like in your experience? I know degradation is going to happen, but I want to keep my 12 bars as long as I can!

My leaf will be outside; it gets about 90 a few weeks out of the year; and very cold and snowy during the winter. But I can definitely park him in shady spots during the summer months! Thanks for your input :)
