Post Body

I wanted to see what my 2012 10 bar Leaf would do on the highway. I fully charged it and drove ~1 mile from my house to the highway. I drove 60-70mph, not exceeding the speed limit. Windows were up and climate control was off as it was ~70 degrees and sunny. The highway was fairly level with no steep hills, turning around nearly halfway. I ended up driving a total of 44.3 miles before pulling off to charge. I was still at 18% SOC but didn't want to risk it. I averaged about 3.3 miles/kwh on the the trip. By comparison, I get 4.3 miles/kwh and can do 70 miles in the city using the same amount of charge. Current state of health is 76.5% according to LeafSpy. Hope this helps anyone looking to purchase a Leaf.
