How bad is it to drive without a radiator splash shield?
Post Body

A couple weeks after bringing my 2018 Leaf S in to a Nissan shop to fix the AC (wires melted, go figure!), I started hearing a dragging sound underneath. Apparently this was my splash shield. And after about a month of putting it off to get that fixed, yesterday it completely came off. So, no radiator splash shield at all. How bad is that really? How soon do I need to go back to Nissan and get it replaced?

Used to live where an inch or two of snow was a typical winter commute; nowadays it's more rain and tornados. Lemme tell ya of all the cars I've had, absolutely nothing beats my leaf driving in the snow. Truly a winter tank!

But yeah, the spash shield was more or less fiberglass from what it felt like? I'll probably get it replaced next month tbh. But good to know it's not leaf or death! Haha.

Mine literally fell off yesterday; some of the screw holes are completely torn - I'd definitely need a replacement.
