Post Body

I have been driving a hybrid for about 12 years but its transmission is going out so I have been looking at ev cars. my budget tops out at about 24,000. I plan on using it for in-city driving about 30 miles a day.

I have a few questions

  1. I have read that heat is bad for EV's. I live in San Antonio tx and it gets hot here for about 3 months each year, is this too hot?
  2. second, I found this 2019 sl plus in my price range, am I correct in seeing that this battery is still in good shape?
  3. lastly, everything I have read says leafs get about 100,000 miles out of the batteries is this mostly true?

thanks for the input/help
