Hey guys, I am about to buy a 2018 Leaf SL with 47k miles in a few days from CarMax, and wondering if I should buy an extended warranty that gives coverage for additional 5 years or a total odometer of 125,000 miles.
I think the coverage was around $1500 with a $50 deductible. From my research, there are a lot of people saying pass on the warranty saying, the car is reliable and probably won't cover the battery.
However from my experience owning old cars, while I realize there isn't a transmission or an engine, there are also AC, and especially suspension that could go wrong also. In 5 years, the car will be around 10 years old and probably due for a suspension/control arm replacement, and maybe a few other stuff
What do you guys think?
Should I go for it?
