What is the church's stance on marrying outside of it? I understand the temple sealing part, but other than that, what is the stance?

For context, I'm a member who is thinking about progressing a relationship towards marriage with an absolutely wonderful woman who I think is pretty much perfect for me. I worry about the religious consequences of marrying outside of the church, as marrying inside the church is the norm where I live. At the end of the day, I feel a little bit guilty about dating her, and I'm getting tired of feeling guilty (especially about a relationship that is such a healthy one).
