So I am working on a craftsman DYS 4500 with a 48 inch deck...the deck height is all messed up...you can't even go to the heightest setting because it allbth way into the lawn mower frame...somebody thought to use a socket as a spacer and call it good...so can someone help me out with an initial setting? How much thread is below the nuts on the rear hangers that pick the deck up and down? 1inch? Which hole is your is your rear and front tires bolted to on the deck ? And lastly how much thread is behind the nut (towards front) on the connector bar on the deck.... thank you
