Random sprouts in my yard

Hi everyone, I have a random question:

I have random trees sprouting in my back yard. I THINK they are from my neighbor’s yard/tree. Last year I dug up The sprouts, they share a root system and run under my back wall. They are kind of a pain in the butt and I’m hoping to have my yard repaired after some unfortunate tenants and don’t want to contend with this in the future. How can I stop these things from continuing to sprout? I don’t want to kill the main plant, I just don’t want it in my yard.photos
