I think as sort of a coping mechanism, I became very attached to taking care of my lawn while we were displaced and waiting for the rest of our house to get repaired. The lawn was already a mess from the previous owners, and the flood brought who knows what into it as well. Mowing and trimming gave me an excuse to go to the house every weekend and was something I had control of. Then I discovered LCN on youtube...and down the rabbithole I went. After many mistakes and months of trial and error, this is the story of how I am reclaiming my lawn...
