Post-emergence treatment of annual bluegrass?

Just moved into a house late summer last year. Turned out a big patch of my front yard is annual bluegrass.
I wasn't able to identify it until just now and obviously it's too late for a pre-emergent. So I'm thinking about using glyphosphate on the whole patch and reseeding.
Is there a better option? If not do you all have any tips?
