I live in the metro MN area, I aerated and overseeded my lawn in early April with Tall Fescue, (I know it’s a warm season, but needed something very hardy) then spread a Scott’s 3in1 weed killer, fertilizer, seed jumpstart. Well…. The fescue has finally started to germinate/grow now that it’s warmed up a bit and we’ve had plenty of rain.
Problem is, the rest of the grass is now super tall in some spots and I’d like to mow it down a bit. If I raise the deck all the way up on my zero turn, will I hurt the newly sprouted grass by driving over it, the blades shouldn’t come close the new stuff on the highest setting…
