Quick take:

I watched most of the trial. The prosecution leaned heavily on the video of Chauvin killing George Floyd over the course of nearly 10 minutes. The defense strategy tried to raise doubt as to the cause of Floyd's death. The trial proceeded without any bumps in the road that I noticed despite the high visibility of the trial and the turmoil that ensued after Floyd's death.

Chauvin looked surprised/shocked when the verdict was read.
