help. as the title says…this happens all the time. it doesn’t happen to me. like we could both start using new towels (both exactly the same towels) at the same time but within 3 days his would be visibly yellow compared to mine, and his towel would stink. it’s not a body odour kinda stank but more like a wet dog kinda smell.

i’ve tried using bleach but it doesn’t work. i’ve tried enzyme detergent also and it doesn’t really remove the stain. what other laundry hacks do y’all know? and….if there is something probably wrong with him and u have some idea pls let me know! thanks in advance!!!

EDIT: haha thanks for all your advice! i’d like to add that he tries to keep himself as clean as possible. he showers as much as me (minimally twice a day, max 4 a day if it’s a particularly hot and humid day), exfoliates more often than i do, and does not have any health issues that we are aware of. he is a smoker/vaper though. so i think it might not be a hygiene issue but maybe something his body is secreting?

2nd EDIT: for those wondering why he sometimes showers 4 times a day. sometimes i do it too. and when i say sometimes, i mean once or twice per month, sometimes not even. we live on the equator in asia and it gets ridiculously hot and humid sometimes. we get up for the day, we shower. we head to the gym mid-day, we shower after so that we’d be fresh when we meet friends for lunch, but because it’s so sunny and humid, its inevitable to sweat after lunch especially when you’re walking to the train station. we come home and want to take a nap, so it’s another shower to nap on our bed not being sweaty and sticky (yuck). sometimes we get sticky and sweaty from going out to get dinner after, or in his case he sweats when having a spicy dinner, so that’s another shower to wind down for the day to get ready to sleep. total 4 showers. it’s relatively normal where we live, fyi. it’s two showers minimum for everyone here. not just in my country but the whole of south east asia.
