Is it ok for me to wait until I'm "older" to go on a mission?
Post Body

I'm a 17 year old male right now, and the prospect of a mission is on my mind.

I know the maximum age is 25, so theoretically, I can wait.

I'm really into band, and I want to join drum corps. However, the age limit for drum corps is 21 years old. If I go on a mission when I'm 18/19, I'll only be able to do one year of drum corps. But if I go right after I "age out" of drum corps, I'll still be young enough for a mission.

I'm worried that this is a poor reason to wait.

Should I just go when I'm 18/19 anyway? Or would it be ok for me to wait? Should I pray about it?

Edit: thank you for the responses and support!
