Hi /r/latin!
I have an unusual request. Currently, there is a series of puzzles being put out to the video game community from Bungie, the company that created Destiny, a very popular shooter/RPG game. The current thinking is that this is an Alternate Reality Game (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternate_reality_game) and Bungie is trying to tease us and once the community cracks whatever message or hidden meaning there is, we'll be rewarded with something- it could be something in the game or information about some new expansion to the game.
There's been a lot of stuff that's come out in the last 12 hours, but most intriguing is the following message: B♠8 5 A auxilio 3 F♯ distortus 8 C
Would anyone be willing to comment on 'auxilio' or 'distortus'? My meager introductory latin from college doesn't seem up to the task. I can't tell if auxilio is declined or conjugated, but distortus seems to be a past participle.
EDIT: oh, also: 'Vigesima die mensis noni. ILLUD est venturus. Per Audacia ad astra'
