It took my wife buying us a strap on for me to realize with absolutely certainty that I am definitely a lesbian, and not bi as I had thought for a long time. Not that this realization is entirely sudden, I've been feeling for a while that I'm possibly (probably) not actually bi but was struggling to figure it out for certain, torn between my bi pride and learning that comphet sounds an awful lot like my experience up to this point.
Also a fun thing I've noticed on my journey... Anyone else look back on movies/shows/etc you used to watch and suddenly realize you were super attracted to the main female character and just didn't recognize it before? That happens to me a lot...
