Anthologies about coming out/being gay
Post Body

Hi late bloomers! I’m hoping some of you might be able to help me, since my Google skills seem to be failing. A few years ago, when I was in the first throes of realizing I wasn’t straight, I read Dear John, I Love Jane: Women Write About Leaving Men for Women, and it touched something very real, raw, and deep for me. I return to it every few months, and while it’s far from a perfect collection, I always find something to love about it. I’m no longer in those first throes, but I still crave reading about women coming to terms with loving women. I would also take stories about teenagers coming out. I’m not looking for fiction, but for personal essay collections like the aforementioned. I’ve already read Untamed by Glennon Doyle and Would You Rather by Katie Heaney. Are there any other anthologies like what I’m looking for? Or have I read it all?
