I (37F) have a crush on my good friend and she (49F) knows about it. She teases me a lot but has often mentioned she wouldn't date anyone in their 30s.

Today we went out to a day rave (we're both sober though and love that about each other) just the two of us for once and there were a few moments where I felt there was a vibe and maybe I should've made a move, but didn't.

One such time was when we were alone talking and she leaned in to whisper into my ear exactly what she likes to do when she licks a vulva. She pulled away and looked directly into my eyes. I was dying inside, but didn't do anything at all, just looked back at her 🤦🏼‍♀️

Then after when I was walking her to her train station she said out of the blue "why aren't you 10 years older?" I said I don't care about our age gap but she was quiet.

We parted ways with a hug as always and when I was on the train home myself I text her to say I wish she was coming home with me. She called me straight away and said" you didn't ask me to" I said "I wanted to but I chickened out" and she said "lesson learned".

I'm autistic so think now that I've been missing signals, as this was the first night where I actually felt like I might have a chance, but I know the age thing is an issue for her. I want to respect her wishes on that but at the same time I am confused...

Edit2: she maintains that it was all just banter for her and she doesn't want to blur the lines of a platonic friendship.
