Okay Iām getting up the courage to tell my partner but Iām stumped as to what to tell my family. Iāve always thought I was just bi and my family knows (ish, it hasnāt really impacted anything so they mostly ignore it). Iām from the south and grew up going to church but have since stopped going. My family adores my partner and weāve been together for almost 5 years now. I know I shouldnāt give a single fuck about what they think but I need advice. How do I tell them Iāve ādecidedā to be a lesbian (I donāt believe this but I feel like they might). Iām just struggling with my identity a bit. Iāve tried to āmake it workā for the past few years because heās an amazing person who my family loves and honestly is my best friend but Iāve known for a while that Iām not TRULY happy. I guess I mostly just needed to vent š
