Hi all,
Latebloomer here, 36 f. Never dated a woman, just got out of a LTR with a man this summer. Currently I’m trying to reactivate my social life and find some friends hopefully, as I’m pretty isolated.
So I started using Bumble in Friends mode (Bff), and matched with a nice woman and we have been chatting for a week now, and maybe want to grab a coffee some time in the future (we live ~ 50 min away from each other).
I did not mention specifically that I’m into women, and now for example she was asking me if I have experience with dating men on apps, and I don’t know how open I should respond. Just say no, or should I say no but I will try to date women soon?
I want to be honest but I don’t want her to think I could be interested in her more than just friends…living in a bit conservative area here.
How soon do you mention your orientation with new online friends?
Thanks for your input!
