Hey everyone. Just curious. I never had sex with a woman, as I (36) just got out of a LTR with a guy after realizing I’m a lesbian. Watching a lot of sapphic movies/ series these days. Yesterday I watched Blue is the warmest color, and was surprised that it’s so different from other sex scenes I have seen, e.g. in the L word, or other movies, where I felt there was really some deeper connection between the women involved or it was more emotional, and softer, honestly I don’t know exactly how to explain. But in this movie the sex seems more like watching porn and I felt there was just missing something. Is this only my impression? And I know there’s no definitive answer to this but is lesbian sex really this way more often and only displayed more subtle in the other movies/series etc.?
