Heyy so somewhat random question for peoples mainly Americans about nukes:
Post Body

Are you guys actually taught that it was a necessity to bomb Japan? Is there any hate or propaganda still around while you’re taught that?

Growing up in Japan we basically were taught the equivalent of,

“welp golly gee wars are bad ain’t they? That big ol kaboom was a little much, but maybe we shouldn’t of fought so hard towards the end yeah? We got dunked on a little, but oh well. Any who to summarize we are assholes, they are assholes, and we should try to not do that again”

Just was curious how everyone else is presented with that. We basically are taught it as a it happened let’s all be better and not do that again.
