Last images of my friend Kevin, who we discovered had passed in his sleep yesterday. He’d texted me the night before that he wasn’t feeling well.

No drugs or alcohol are suspected, nor suicide. He wasn’t struggling with his health, and I thought he was being his usual overly cautious self when he’d asked me to check on him the next day. We called in a welfare check when he didn’t show up to work. I’m trying not to dwell on whether I could have figured out a way to get in to check on him earlier, and perhaps saved him.
