How do you manage jobs larger than your engraver?
Post Body

Hey all,

Going to try to keep this as short as possible. I have a Creality Falcon2 40w w/ 500x500mm honeycomb bed but any similarly designed machine should work the same way.

I'm working with large cardboard sheets both longer and taller than the machine. I'm trying to create a rectangular shape that's 400mm tall by 840mm wide shown here, with the black lines being cut lines and the green in perforation mode to be bent at 90ΒΊ.

My first problem is how to set the machine up to work on a flat material that's both wider and taller than your machine? The machine's feet can be placed directly on the material, but then you can't use the honeycomb to protect your work surface.

Next, how would you set up the multiple jobs to cut the outline out of large surface? I need to, for example, set it up to cut each side so that when done the length of the cut piece is accurate.

Sorry if this isn't the best way to ask the question, this is the best way I can think of. Many thanks.
