Laravel Inertia React or Laravel NextJS?

I've been using inertia with react in the past few months and it amazed me and made my life easier as a fullstack developer as it connects the backend and frontend. Now I just learned that NextJS is also a very good framework for react. I've tried the Breeze NextJS combination but its not as good as Inertia React. I had to do a lot of front end things manually (ex. fetching) Where in Inertia can already be loaded at the backend. Am I wrong on understanding and using the NextJS Laravel ? My conclusion is for fullstack apps Inertia React but for Static website NextJS is preferred. Any opinion are appreciated Thankyou.
