Post Body

  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

    Prob like 1000 USD

  • Are you open to refurbs/used?

If it works well and doesn't crash idc

  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

good performance and battery life would be preferable, but i'm sure i can find an outlet if i really need one.

  • How important is weight and thinness to you?

I can buy a laptop bag if i really need to. but if it's possible, something i can set on my knees and stuff

  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

N/A

  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

I'll be doing a LOT of video/photo editing as that's why I will be buying this laptop. Ill need it to be able to run Adobe Premiere Pro/Photoshop/After Effects (and if possible terraria, but that's not a priority)

  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

honestly if it runs terraria idc. if it can't, oh well.

  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

touch screen would be cool for detailed editing, but it's not needed. keyboard is a must, and id like for it to work with headphones and mouse.

  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

I have an internship where I edit videos, but Im also a senior in high school. So half the time I'm in class and not at my desktop. I want to know what laptop is good for Adobe products so I can edit the videos in the free time I get in class. thank you reddit!
