Hello all! I come here for some advice. I have 4 year old laptop, HP 15, core i3-6006u (late 2016), with 8GB RAM 2133MHz and a HDD.

Id like to ask for opinions if it’s worth upgrading?? I have mixed feelings as I think I can give it some extra lifetime, considering how expensive is the laptop market right now (I’d love a Ryzen 5-5500u, with at least 16GB RAM and SSD).

I don’t want to settle with a 4500U, because I don’t wanna make the same “mistake” I made when I bought my HP, being cheap I kind of ignored it was 1 year old processor and I feel it’s one year that I lost, aside of the fact I didn’t know much about computers as now 😅

The other thing I was considering is a mini pc upgrading the laptop, but that’s another story haha. I thank you for your ideas!
