Hello everyone.
Around year ago I bought ASUS Vivobook 14, 5600h, 16Gb, 14 screen;
It wasn't a perfect pick but definitely the best of very limited options I had at the moment.
It is good, don't get me wrong, but now some aspects really limiting me in a lot of ways. First of all, lack of GPU. It became a big problem now because I lack the needed performance in some important tasks (the greatest example is probably CSGO switch to CS2 which downgraded my experience immensely). And while I really like the screen, it is kinda small making me constantly curving my neck to be closer to display. And 3rd- WiFi receiver is kinda bad, worse than on my mobile. I literally had to tether the connected phone to laptop. Now it is better because I have cables but could become a problem again.
Seems like every issue isn't solvable. I can't really find anything to improve performance for any significant amount outside of power plan changes. Seems like eGPU is not an option either since no thunderbolt slot. Adding memory or more SSD space is irrelevant. Software is updated and experimenting gave no significant performance increase (why would it anyway)
So the question is- can I really do something about the situation?
