Learning Spoken Tamil (Indian Variety) as a Westerner
Post Body

In my opinion there aren't enough people learning Indian languages! Four years ago I started learning Bengali, before moving onto Hindi last year. About 8 months ago, I started learning Tamil, a Dravidian language completely unrelated to Hindi and Bengali. I felt that my Indian language repertoire shouldn't just be Indo-Aryan-centric. It's been really challenging but also pretty fun. This vid is just a lil snapshot of what a typical lesson looks like for me.

Has anyone else here considered learning a South Indian language?
