I took French for four years in high school and one semester in community college. I also visited France three times and in Quebec four times in my life. I am not perfect in the language (probably around an A2) but I know if I studied and kept on to it I could excel more in it.
I decided to take Japanese this semester at my University which was 5 credits and reget it so much. I currently have a 63 in the class and while I have time to raise my grade I am still nervous because the professor emailed me to meet with her via zoom and said she was concerned about me not being able to read Hiragana well. We are now on Katakana. This is a very fast-paced class and I was too confident.
Really just hope I can learn as much as I can and get something out of it as well as get a C.
