Post Body

I'm at C2 level native proficiency in English as well as Hindi. I'm now learning German. I've heard of something called 'first-language attrition' which makes me think that as I become better at German, my English skills my become weaker.

I may move to an English-speaking country after living in Germany as an expat. Therefore, I'm concerned about losing my English proficiency.

Did any of you face 'first-language attrition' ? Any tips to avoid this? Is it possible to be fluent / at C1/C2 proficiency at more than one language parallely?
