Is it easy to find work as a translator?

Post Body
I've been learning German for a while now, and I was thinking about using my German skills to make money, maybe by translating, interpreting, or something else.
Is it difficult to find work as a translator? Is there potential to make good money? Should I bother pursuing it as a career or should I think of something else?
What will the job prospects be like? Is there a high demand for translators? Could I easily find a job as a translator if I have achieved native-level fluency?
Thanks.
