Tips/Tricks to be able to apply new vocab faster?
Post Body

Hey guys,

So I've been learning German for about 5 years now (passed my last German exam with a B2.1 fluency, so proud!) and I feel like I'm at this wall with my language application. I'm at the point where I can speak with my coworkers pretty fluently and stuff, but only using vocabulary that I'm familiar and comfortable with. I'm trying to get out of this circle of familiarity by using new words every now and then, but the progress is slow. Right now I've spent a good while writing a bunch of grammar and verbs with prepositions to get more familiar that way, but besides just looking at the words and repeating them to myself, I feel like I'm lost. Do you guys have any tips or advice to help me get out of this rut? Thanks!!
