I’m learning Farsi and know quite a bit, but I really want to propel my comprehension to much higher levels. If I were reading a book like Harry Potter, would it be better to meticulously read and try to fully understand each sentence and note words I’m unfamiliar with? Or to just read through it and ignore sentences I don’t really understand?
