Hi y'all!
I am looking to establish some new friendships, owing to a long-term, permanent move to another country that I am planning down the road.
Speaking of down, I am in fact, contemplating moving down under, to Australia/New Zealand for good within the next 1-2 years, seeing as how my entire family is based within the region. And as a result, I would like to make some new friends in both countries, just so I can begin to accustom myself to the way of life that is prevalent in the region, which in turn should come in handy as and when I attempt to carry out dealings of a diverse sort (for instance, I am considering buying property in both countries).
In exchange, I am happy to help anyone currently based in Australia/New Zealand that reaches out to me, become better Spanish speakers for starters, which happens to be a task right up my alley seeing as how I have a C2 level of fluency in the language. Additionally, I am happy to pray for your sanity and well-being, while helping you obviously, in case you have made up your mind to learn Hindi, especially since it should be entertaining to see your claw your hair out as you attempt to master Hindi grammar and pronunciation.
As far as my "interests" are concerned, I guess it is safe to say that I like to indulge in anything that leads me outdoors and allows me to have an active lifestyle, like working out, hiking with my dogs, travelling etc. Although on the other hand, I do tend to enjoy living up to the second half of the word "interests" too, seeing as how I am partial to resting adequately and devoting time to my own mental wellness (I am a strong proponent of the idea of seeking therapy, and have done the same extensively in the past).
However, I like talking about other topics as well, like football (which foolish people incorrectly refer to as "soccer"), foreign cultures, travelling (I have been to more than 60 countries in the past), business, food, and everything in between.
Feel free to reach out if anything from above resonates with you, so that we can get our language exchange/friendship underway. I am also happy to meet up in person seeing as how I am planning a preliminary trip to Australia sometime in September, although I am content to keep things virtual as well if necessary. Thanks in advance for taking the time to reach out, I really appreciate it, ¡ojalá podamos hablar pronto!
PS: Spanish/Portuguese speakers based in Australia/New Zealand are especially welcome to reach out, although I am open to talking with anyone from the region, regardless of their nationality, age and gender. Peace!
