Hey all,
My box hedge (buxus sempervirens) is coming up to it's third summer (planted as 9cm plants in April '19).
They've filled in nicely and are touching each other on the sides, and I think now is a good time to prune. But... should I? The hedge is only to act as a low fence so has some growing to do - a few years worth actually - so do i prune now to tidy (like you do with a haircut and most other shrubs) or do I save pruning it til it's reached the desired height?
Any hints or tips greatly welcomed!
Thank you
