Brick walkway disaster!!! Please help!!!

My boss is having me redo a walkway at his residence and we are using these long skinny bricks with holes in them . I don't really think they are ideal and I told him this but that's what he wants... anyways I didn't think to use gravel for drainage. I used pea gravel and tube sand. My biggest concern is I think I made the gaps between the bricks to big...what do I do? Please someone give me ideas. I'm stressing about this and he's going to probably be really mad when he sees it
