Hello all, we just remodeled our pool and backyard. We got three 15 gallon bird of paradises that we want in planters. We’re trying to figure out the right size planter for these. Went to a local nursery and I asked them this question. Their answer was, “a bigger pot than the 15 gal nursery pot, but one whose proportion will look balanced once the BOP grows a bit more.” They didn’t have planters that size, so we went to a couple stores and no luck.
I’m looking for ideas or recommendations for a modern simple planter. We don’t want it so big that it overpowers our small pool/yard area, but we do agree it should be big enough to accommodate the BOP with a bit of room to grow and look proportionate.
Thank for any suggestions!
