My current tree is nearing the end of its life, but is in the perfect spot for my next tree. Is there a good way to remove and replace?
Post Body

I have an Arizona ash tree thatโ€™s about 50 years old, and is starting to show its age. I live in Houston and would like to plant something native once I get the ash removed, but the ash is occupying an excellent position in the yard that Iโ€™d like my next tree to enjoy as well.

Is it possible to grind/remove a tree in a way that allows another to be planted in its place?
