She is such an amazing poet! I love how she references songs she probably likes and I assume this one has to be on purpose. Our home is a song about how life used to be hard but now life is easy with this new person and he describes why life is now better. How to disappear feels like she’s singing from reverse — like she’s in the good life but she’s remembering and describing the hard life. “Two cats in the yard” is also my favorite line 🐈‍⬛💕🐈
